A stunning sterling silver jewelry set. The earrings are shaped like a harp with three raised points at its center. Its design was inspired by King David’s harp. The necklace’s design was inspired by an incredible archaeological find- a silver tablet inscribed with the words from the “Priestly Blessing” prayer, "May God bless you and safeguard you. May God shine His face upon you and be gracious to you. May God turn His face towards you and give you peace.” [Numbers 6:24-26] The pendant is engraved on both sides. One side in modern Hebrew, and the other in ancient Hebrew. The original tablet was found rolled up like a scroll with a small hole to thread string through, to allow it to be worn on the body, as jewelry or an amulet. It was found inside a burial cave in the Hinnom Valley during excavations that were carried out in the 1970’s. Dated to the end of the First Temple period, it is the earliest archaeological evidence of verses from the Bible.
