Inspired by this find, a 14-carat gold necklace was designed, closely reflecting the historical style with a subtle adaptation to contemporary design aesthetics.
The jewelry was discovered in an opulent structure which was uncovered during excavations at the Givati Parking Lot in the City of David, as part of the Sifting Project in Emek Tzurim.
