A rare gold earring, adorned with the head of a horned animal, is a remarkable discovery that highlights the jewelry craftsmanship practiced in Jerusalem during the Second Temple period. Inspired by the original design, these 14-carat gold earrings were designed to closely reflect the historical style while incorporating a modern design aesthetic.

The earring was discovered during excavations in the Givati Parking Lot in the City of David, as part of the Sifting Project in Emek Tzurim, alongside additional pieces of jewelry that were preserved within the ancient structure.
