Pair of sterling silver stud earrings bearing the words “deka leyah”. Part of a collection of jewelry created by leading Israeli artists and inspired by a tiny and extremely rare seal. The seal was discovered during the sifting of archaeological rubble in Emek Tzurim National Park that originated from the area around Robinson’s Arch, one of the arches that protrudes from the Temple Mount. The seal was used in the Temple to certify that items were pure and therefore were allowed entry.
