Queen Helene earrings
A pair of 14K gold Queen Helene earrings, whose design is remarkably similar to the two thousand year old gold earring that was discovered in excavations being carried out by the Israel Antiquities Authority and sponsored by the City of David in what once was the “Givati Parking Lot”. Incredibly, the earring survived all these years, not only intact, but still looking completely new. Found in a home that is attributed to Queen Helene’s family and may have even been hers at one time, the earring was passed down from family member to family member for 300 years.
